After training as a fashion designer, Holly couldn't help but react to  the fast, throwaway nature of the industry, turning to textiles and learning to weave; now creating slowly made, meaningful, well crafted textiles. Growing up in a home of textile enthusiasts in the Saddleworth hills; historically a centre for woollen cloth production, this was a natural progression, encompassing her obsession with colour, her habit of painting repeating patterns and her love of working with her hands.

Holly now hand designs and weaves forward thinking textiles pieces, wearable luxury accessories, and beautiful interior products from her colourful London workroom. Using a confident and maximalist colour pallet of natural woollen yarns, the collections celebrate the heritage and tradition of woven textiles in the UK at the same time as embracing contemporary design, function and style.

Enjoying the luxury of hand weaving her bespoke designs, Holly also works with weaving mills in the UK to produce small batches of some of her designs, these limited edition runs support British manufacturing and contribute to the continued success of UK mills.

In 2010 Holly was selected by the Crafts Council UK to join the pioneering Hothouse programme for emerging makers.
